    Finding Dummy Sector (For all who still want to Play with the HDD)

    THIS IS MY SAME TUT FROM NEXT GEN.

    hey if you take the file size wich is about 2gb and get the bytes that = the dummy file size assuming you are using the default file size then you divide the byte value by 512.

    .::MATH::.

    exact file size in bytes (2147483648) ÷ 512 = 4194304

    the resulting number should be the amount of times the sector repeats.
    A.K.A the identical sector that repeats the most.

    .::Explanation::.

    the reason we ÷ by 512 is because the sectors are = to 512.

    A GB is Not a GIB = Gibibyte lol
